It is a “Katie and Loni Doing Stuff” episode! The Gals talk about their Silhouette cutting machines (they have different models and some opinions on the differences). Listen in as they work on their projects and talk about what they are doing and some of the struggles and successes they have had with their cutting machines.

The Gals are talking about protest art today and they are a bit nervous over this episode. They give a brief history on protest in the united states (because it is an hour long show and would be impossible to give even the briefest oral history of protest as it relates to humankind), then talk about protests artist of all kinds, and end the show with some discussion on protest sign art and their adventure at the Women’s March. Your Artsy Gals love you (so don’t be a turd about this episode).

This week The Gals come at you with some information about easels. Learn about the many types available and in what situations they will work best. Katie and Loni are hungry and goofy in this one… they thought of a clever title for this episode but we recorded it over a week go so now no one can remember what it was.

Happy 2017 Listeners! The Gals are finally back with their first episode of 2017! The Gals update you on what has been happening in their lives since December with an extra long intro, and then have a lovely conversation about the importance of finding a group of people you connect with to create together. Katie talks about how she was first introduced to art groups, how that has grown, and the importance of community. This episode feels like a lovely way to begin 2017 for the show and we hope you enjoy it.

Listeners, this is our last episode of the year! It is a Katie and Loni Doing Stuff episode… The Gals make some ornaments whilst engaging in some general purposes jackassery; it is a pretty good time. There will be no new Episodes for the next two weeks. We will be back in 2017 with a bunch of new episodes and exciting guests and some pretty cool shit!

This week The Gals talk about some less intimidating, yet beautiful ways to approach doing portraits. This episode is full to the brim with last minute gift ideas, ridiculous sidebars, and Katie and Loni’s typical silly shit. So it is going to be a fun one.

This episode is sooo late but worth the wait! The Gals talk about ways we can reuse old maps and globes in our mixed media art and crafting projects. It is a great time of the year for this episode as some pretty spectacular gift ideas come up. Be prepared for few crazy sidebars and rants on this one… Katie and Loni got a bit out of hand.

This week The Gals tackle a long promised episode! We are talking about stretching and priming your own canvases. There is a rant at the top of the show. Katie wanted to take it out but we decided it was a good talk and it should stay. Stick with us because once Loni and Katie get their feels in check you will learn all about making stretching frames; stretching canvases, the tools and supplies you will need to do this, and why you would want to go to the trouble of doing it.
